SEALER APPLICATION

The application of a penetrating sealer reduces the porosity and absorption to a level where you have a longer period of time to remove any spillage. There are many different types of penetrating sealers on the market, however they will differ mainly in how much protection they offer (measured in the time they will protect and the range of contaminates they will repel). The low cost products will measure protection in minutes against a small range of contaminants while the premium products will afford much greater protection (measured in hours) against a quite exhaustive range of contaminants.

We choose to use Dry Treat products, which we have found perform brilliantly when used on our projects. As accredited applicators, we are also able to provide a product warranty.

We also specialise in the application of Topical “Surface” Sealers. These provide a protective barrier over natural stone. This means the sealer will take on the general wear damaged associated with floors and entryways.

The existing tile installation was faulty, causing water to leak through the ceiling to the lower floor A new screed bed was laid and water-proofed and the drainage assembly was reset correctly We then manufactured a one-piece base. All falls, to allow for drainage
