Travertine

Travertine is a form of limestone, deposited by minerals at mineral springs, especially hot ones. Aquatic plants and other organic organisms often colonise the surface of the travertine and, being preserved there, give travertine its distinctive porosity.

These images provide just a glimpse of what a full marble slab looks like—no two slabs are ever identical! Schedule an appointment to visit us and explore our in-stock selection. If you’re looking for something specific, we can also source slabs on request.
